Bill Marshall, owner of Signature Roofing, a Northern Virginia roofing contractor, is a certified CertainTeed Shingle Quality Specialist™. To earn the title of Shingle Quality Specialist, one must pass the CertainTeed Shingle Technology Manual test which includes questions on current manufacturing technology and related subjects, discussing complex shingle technology and quality.

The program provides a comprehensive overview of asphalt shingles, from product components and design features, to price considerations and warranty provisions.

Completion of this course is a prerequisite requirement to earning the SELECT ShingleMaster™ certification.
